Meet the Dental Team – Clifton, NJ

Abie—Hygiene Coordinator

Abie is part of our delightful front office team; she will always greet you with her ever-present smile and a warm hello. She will help schedule your next re-care visit, answer any questions you might have, and make your visit to our office a pleasant one. She has been with us since 2014.

She is our most “stylish” team member having worked in the fashion industry for over two decades and spent many years at Liz Claiborne. She is the proud mom of two teenage sons, and in her free time, she likes to shop, redecorate her home, try new restaurants, and collect evening bags and jewelry.

Nafeesa—Dental Hygiene Lead

Nafeesa came to our office as a young high school graduate over 20 years ago wanting a position as a dental assistant with no previous experience. She quickly became an invaluable member of our office, learning the necessary skills in record time. She was so proficient at dentistry that she went back to college at night and then onto dental hygiene school. Today, she has certifications in local anesthesia and teeth whitening.

At home, she is the mother of two beautiful children and likes to spend her free time baking.

Olivia—Dental Assistant & Receptionist

Olivia is a graduate of Monmouth University, and she says that the best part of her job is helping our patients feel more confident about their oral health and smiles. She is originally from Clifton and spends most of her weekends laughing with her family. She also enjoys cooking, working out, building Lego sets, and her hidden talent is making balloon animals!

Rosa—Senior Patient Coordinator

Rosa has been with us for the entirety of her 20+-year dental career. A Clifton native, she says she never has to look for a dentist because she already works with the best! To relax, she likes to spend time with her family, garden, and fish.

Janna—Lead Dental Assistant

Janna has worked in the dental field for over 10 years, and she looks forward to coming to work every day because of the welcoming, family-oriented nature of our office. She attended the Dental Studies Institute and is certified in dental radiology. She has 14 and one-year-old daughters as well as a loving fiancé at home. To relax, she likes to crochet or hang out with her twin.

Lori—Practice Leader

Lori recently joined our dynamic team and shares the same vision and values of our Allwood family. Bringing her 30+ years of Dental Management has been an asset to our growing team and diverse patient population. For her, there is nothing better than working alongside a top-notch team that is fully dedicated to delivering excellent patient care. She is married and the mom of 2 incredible sons. She enjoys the outdoors, gardening as well as cooking for her family and friends.

Janna—Lead Dental Assistant

Janna has worked in the dental field for over 15 years, and she looks forward to coming to work every day because of the welcoming, family-oriented nature of our office. She attended the Dental Studies Institute and is certified in dental radiology. She has 2 daughters, 16 and 3, as well as a loving fiancé at home. To relax, she likes to crochet and enjoy getting together with her family.

AJ—Insurance Coordinator

AJ is one of the newer faces to join the Allwood Family. She started in May of 2023 and has been working hard to make sure each patient is fully informed before treatment is initiated and will help assist them with the financial planning. She greets everyone with her beautiful smile and aims for each patient to have a seamless visit. AJ is a hard-working mom of a 2 yr. old son as well as a f/t student at Montclair University.
